George T and I took a walk down the River, from the quarry bridge down to the tail of the long pool on lower beat 4.I showed him the hole where the salmon lie waiting for higher water. We cleared the top path of snags and obstacles. The Riverside path has a blockage which needs clearing, extra hands and maybe waders required. The River is looking well if a little murky. Not long now! Only nine sleeps!!
