It’s been brought to our attention that there is a landslip down on lower beat 4, about 50 yards upstream from the apple tree pool, not far from Lindsays tree. It is on the North bank so it’s very unlikely anyone will be fishing there, however with all the rain and the river in spate it can be a dangerous place. I would urge caution. Use the SEPA gauge link at the bottom of the Fishing the River page as a reference to see when the river is dropping.
