This event had to be postponed due to the height of the river. I will be doing a kick sample to have a look at the inscect life on/in the river – “trout food assessment” soon. It is always interesting and gives a barometer as to the health of the river. I will pick a date for this after a look at the weather forecast, at the base of Lovells glen. As always I really could use a hand, two or three people is best. There is often formal training for this and can be arranged if you are keen.
