Community Action for clear water – Your burns need you!

Rotary Club of Linlithgow Grange project running in conjunction with support from the Linlithgow Angling Club (LAC). 

We are having our first on-site event for this project with the aim of clearin the Mains Burn of blockages, overgrowth, litter, etc.

When: Saturday 6th June 9,30am – 12.00 mid-day

Where : Listloaning Park, Linlithgow Bridge 

Meeting Point: Broomyhill Place (off East Mill Road opposite access to Aldi)

Please have appropriate clothing/footwear, including gloves if you prefer to use your own. LAC will bring additional gloves and eye protection glasses. Bring wellingtons/waders . LAC tabards will be provided.

Pickers/hoops and bags will be available and any collected litter will be taken for disposal. We will stack cut wood/branches etc bank high to increase the local biodiversity. Bring appropriate tools – any of snips, pruning saw, loppers, bow saw etc.

A Health and Safety briefing will be given at the start of the event, a first aid kit will be taken to site.
