Walkers should have appropriate footwear and clothing. Participants do so at their own risk. Children are responsibility of parents/guardians; pathway is not gravel/woodchip etc.

[The route will be from west side of Pace Hill down to the River Avon, following the Heritage path along the line of the battle to Manuel Nunnery ruins – see picture(where Lennox troops crossed). The return will include stops at a Battle of Linlithgow Bridge interpretation board and Linlithgow Angling Club display of 30+ years of work to return the once dead River Avon to an active wildlife corridor, including showing the invertebrates (food for fish and birds) – this tends to be of great interest to young and old. Return back to Lennox Cairn. ]

Free event registration required, maximum of 15 participants per walk, first come first served to : – harry.millar@live.co.uk
